From the Chaplain

Rev Dr Rosalie Clarke

Greetings to all

This morning I was particularly struck by the importance of gratitude. One never knows what is around the corner and our lives can change so suddenly. We can consider possible interruptions as events to fear, or as events to accept – however challenging.

I am encouraged by my faith in a God who knows and loves us, and who holds all things with tenderness. I am encouraged that this God – known in Jesus – can comfort our spirits through the Spirit.

While we will never know what the future will bring, we can hold each day and hour we have been given gratefully on open palms, so that we can work with God to make this world and the lives of others a little brighter. In this way, we humbly walk our journeys.

Blessings to you and yours,

Rosalie
