Dear Parents and Friends,

Firstly, we send our thoughts and prayers to members of the Kinross Wolaroi School community suffering from 12 months of flooding and excessive rainfall, which intensified for some last weekend. If the school community can assist in any way, please reach out as we would love to help.

A quick 'around the grounds' of events that have been and are to come:

World Teachers Day – Friday 28 October 2022

In recognition of the contribution Kinross’s educators, Boarding staff and support and services staff make, the P&F is hosting pop up morning tea stands in the Senior and Junior schools to say a heartfelt thank you.

Many families have already volunteered to donate sweet and savoury morning tea treats for the teachers to enjoy with their choice of hot drink but of course the more the merrier. 

If you would like to contribute some morning tea, the P&F will be at the Junior school drop off from 8am, to collect any donations. 

Junior School Drama Evenings suppers – held in Term 3

The Junior School Drama Evenings were a grand finale to a wonderful term. The Junior School community in between watching the fabulous performances enjoyed a sweet supper and it was wonderful to see the breadth of our School community in attendance, including the children’s Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and special family friends. 

The Junior School teachers deserve a special mention for co-ordinating and assisting with the intensive rehearsal schedule throughout Term 3, which showed on the night with amazing performances.

Spring Soiree Friday 25 November 2022

The P&F in conjunction with the school are hosting the Spring Soiree next month at Ross Hill Winery. Hopefully, the rain will have passed, and we will have a beautiful spring evening celebrating 2022 whilst looking forward to a break somewhere on the horizon.

So please register ASAP. All details are on the landing page of the Hub.
