Jacqueline Shields, Head of Performing Arts
Kinross Wolaroi School Music Leaders have an important role in the school’s Co-Curricular Performing Arts Program – they help staff organise and run large scale events such Music Camp and Music Festival, support younger musicians and help foster a positive culture in rehearsals.

Students in Year 11 Music 1 and 11 Music 2 will be presenting a concert of their performances in the Performance Theatre this Thursday 27 October at 5:30pm. Please come along to support our fabulous Year 11 students.
SUNDAY 4 DECEMBER, 4PM
This term our choirs and orchestra students are presenting a traditional Christmas Carol service, with free admission to the public. We are hoping that this event will provide us the opportunity to spread a bit of Christmas cheer and also to foster links with the broader Orange community. Further information has been emailed to our performers. Please come along and enjoy the Christmas Spirit!
For the past nine months, some of our Year 12 Musicians have been busy writing compositions as part of their work in HSC Music. Thank you to Mr Key who recorded these tracks which were then mastered by sound engineer and ex-student Kris Schubert. Thank you also to Lorraine Moxey, Stephanie Li and Luke Moxey who played for the recordings of several of these compositions. Please take a moment to listen to the work of our students:

Congratulations to Toby Gough who was recently awarded a scholarship with the Mitchell Conservatorium of Music in Bathurst. Toby is well known for his skills on the bassoon, however, the scholarship was awarded for his wonderful singing. Well done Toby – we are proud of you!
