Year 2 News

Room 22

In room 22 we have been having fun working with partners. We had a team challenge in reading groups to see which pair could present the best retell of their story. Students from other reading groups were the judges.

We have also been writing letters to each other. When students have received a letter, they write a letter of reply, making sure they have answered all the questions.

In Health we have been learning how to keep safe and how to speak up when we need help.

We can’t wait to show you what great dancers we are in the Edu Dance concert!

Room 19

It has been a very busy start to Term 4 for Room 19. Coming straight back from our school holiday break, we had our Assembly item in Week 2 which was shared with our neighbours, Room 18. We demonstrated how we have become Multiplication Masters by learning our times tables facts. After the assembly we had an open classroom, where parents and grandparents were invited to come and have a look at all the hard work we put in this year, it was awesome!

We have had some amazing news topics this year, however the ‘upcycling’ would have to be one of the best, with the kids producing some incredible projects from recyclable materials. Edu-Dance is another amazing part of Term 4 and something we really to forward to practicing every Monday. We are beginning to wrap things up and consolidate all the amazing learning we have done this year, while also remembering to celebrate and acknowledge events such as Remembrance Day, which was just last Friday. Enjoy the photos!
