NAPLAN 2022 Results
Shelford students have produced outstanding results in this year’s NAPLAN testing. The results released, continue to confirm the effectiveness of the teaching and learning in our Junior and Senior Schools. We are pleased to see students continue to achieve impressive results, despite the ongoing challenges schools and the community face as a result of the pandemic.
The Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) have released the School and State data for 2022, however, they have delayed releasing all the National data to allow for a full analysis.
In 2022 all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 were involved in online NAPLAN testing. The only paper-based test was the Year 3 Writing Test. Students also undertook a practice test prior to the May testing period, to ensure both students and staff were familiar with the necessary systems and procedures.
Shelford students performed to a very high standard in the various NAPLAN tests of Reading, Writing, Conventions of Language (Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling), and Numeracy.
