Parent Association Meeting

Approximately once a month the Parents’ Association conducts a meeting in which parents are offered the chance to contribute to the life of the College. It is an opportunity to continue an ongoing partnership between the College and the parents of the students in our care. I invite parents/guardians to play an active and crucial part at Academy and should you be so inclined you are most welcome to attend our first meeting of the year on Monday 28 February beginning at 7pm. 

We originally planned to commence with the meetings on Campus for Term 1 and then use the Zoom platform for some meetings later in the year. However, with the latest COVID developments and the need for schools to be very wary of an anticipated spike in cases during the first month of the school year, we will revert back to Zoom Meetings for now with the aim of hopefully being able to meet in person for meetings in the not too distant future. ALUMNAE 165th REUNION: Change the Date

Traditionally Academy Alumnae annual reunions are held on the last Sunday of February. This year was a significant event for our past pupils with a planned Mass and High Tea celebration at the Catholic Leadership Centre and the adjoining St John the Evangelist Catholic Church. With the anxiety around COVID, the alumnae committee is presenting an alternative date and an online celebration of 16 and a half decades of Academy Girls. In keeping with a former tradition, the celebration will take place on the original reunion day - Anzac Day - this year Monday 25 April.  More to come.
