Sustainability Showcase

On Friday February 11, Principal Houghton, Mr. Hellard and our sustainability leaders Anjali and Xabier met with Gladys Liu MP who is the  Federal Member for Chisholm.

It was a fantastic moment to take the Minister on a tour of the STEM building, HUB kitchen garden and other sustainability initiatives. Some of these programs have been researched and implemented by our students, and funded by Federal environmental community grants.

An exciting mention!

Following the Ministers visit to Huntingtower, it was wonderful to hear our school mentioned in Parliament.

She spoke in the House of Representatives about the new STEM Recycling Centre at Huntingtower!
