Thank-you

Dear Families,

I would like to thank every member of our school community for the support you have given me in my first year as your Mental Health and Wellbeing Coordinator (M-HAWC). I have been on a wonderful journey through the year and have learnt so much. Your children are so awesome, and it has been such a pleasure to get to know so many more of them this year; instead of having a class of 25, I’ve had class of over 600! I have also loved working with so many parents and carers. You are also awesome people, and you should all be proud of everything you have done this year too. I have also really enjoyed working with the staff here at OGPS. I feel blessed to be part of such an amazing team of professionals and wonderful human beings, always giving their best.

Next year, I’m looking forward to achieving even more, and helping to make our school even better than it already is. My goal for our school is for educators and parents around the world to wonder, “Why is that school so good? What do they do that make it such a special place?” I’m looking forward to a year with less interruptions too – I have fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Have a safe and enjoyable holiday break. Take care of each other and remember to be kind to others. Spend time with your amazing families and enjoy each other. Time goes so quickly, and our kids grow up so fast.

Stay safe and have a wonderful break,
