Year 7 Camp

Year 7 Camp to Phillip Island Adventure Resort took place on Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th February.  Our new students enjoyed surfing, raft making, high ropes, flying fox, team rescue, archery and Ms. Birchall’s beach walks.

They also enjoyed swimming sessions and some dedicated students got up early to complete a cross-country run each morning.  Staff enjoyed supporting students to push themselves through mental barriers and also watching the rafts fall apart in the lake such that students had to swim after their raft components as they floated away.

Despite coming home exhausted, the camp was very enjoyable! Read some of the testimonials below:

Two weeks ago we went to Philip Island camp. Our favorite activity was surfing. We want to thank the teachers for this experience to meet new people.

In week two we went to Phillip Island for camp. We did high ropes, surfing, twin flying fox, raft making and much more. We did night walks or could stay and watch movies. I (Bonnie) thought it was really fun and tiring. My favourite activity was the free time and that's where you get to swim in a pool or do whatever you want. Hannah thought it was fun and favourite activity was surfing. That's when you learnt to surf and everyone was pretty good!
