School Immunisation Program 2022

The School Immunisation Program will commence for all Year 7 and Year 10 students on Tuesday 8 March. During Mentor Group on Monday 14 February students were distributed an immunisation consent form to take home and have parents/guardians complete.

We ask that you complete all sections of the consent form, even if you choose for your child not to be vaccinated and return back to school by Monday 28 February.

If your child has not brought home a consent form please ask them to collect one from the office as soon as possible.

If you would like further details regarding this program please phone the Maroondah City Council, Immunisation Team on 9294 5627.

2022 College Contributions

Heathmont College would like to thank all families who have already paid or who have committed to Recurring Contributions (formally Payment Plans) in Compass to cover their child/children’s 2022 College Contributions. Your support of these Contributions is greatly appreciated.

The College understands that families may experience financial difficulties or hardship at times. If you have any questions about Recurring Contributions or other fee related enquiries, Sandra Nebl can be contacted in person at the Main Administration Office, via email at Sandra.Nebl@education.vic.gov.au or by telephoning 9871 4888 on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday.

2022 Sports Academy

The Sports Academy is now in full swing under the amazing direction of Mr Brian Vaughns. The College offers this Program as an opt-in, extra-curricular program. Thank you to everyone who has already paid this mandatory charge or set up a ‘Recurring Contribution’ (Payment Instalment Plan) via Compass. Reminders for payments will be emailed home shortly. At least half the amount must be paid by 31 March 2022, with the remainder due by the latest 30 June 2022.

Camps / Sports / Excursions Fund (CSEF)

CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities. The allowance of $225 is assessed and paid to the school on a yearly basis, and is dependent on eligibility.

If your child/children received CSEF in 2021 at Heathmont College, the school will automatically apply on your behalf. If you are new to the College or are recently new to receiving a Health Care Card or similar, and haven’t already submitted your form, please contact the school office to obtain a CSEF application form or download one from: https://www.education.vic.gov.au/PAL/csef-application-form.pdf

The cut-off date for 2022 applications is the last day of Term 2, 2022.

If you know that you have a CSEF Credit amount remaining from previous years (you can ring Sandra to check this), please note that you are able to use the ‘Use CSEF’ function for paying for Events in Compass.

The annual CSEF amount per secondary school student is $225.

2022 Instrumental Music Program

The Heathmont College Instrumental Music Program is going from strength to strength! Thank you to everyone who has already paid their child’s full yearly charge of $200. You will find the link to this ‘Expression of Interest’ form in your child’s Compass feed from earlier in the year.

This Program is an opt-in, extra-curricular program provided by the College and as such, attracts a compulsory fee.
