BICYCLES & SCOOTERS

At yesterday’s morning assembly we reminded all students that helmets are to be worn by all children who ride their bike or scooter to school. This is for the safety of our students and we thank you for working together to support this.

HEAD LICE ALERT

We have had several incidences of head lice in the school recently. Please check your child’s hair regularly and treat it if necessary. A head lice treatment fact sheet was shared with all families via Compass last week or a sheet can be obtained from the office. It would be appreciated if students with long hair tied their hair back in a ponytail or plait to minimise the risk of spreading from person to person.

MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES

Resources shared by Caulfield Community Health Service

During lockdowns our mental health has often been challenged, but there are many ways to promote good mental health and boost our mood. Headspace has summarised some practical tips to keep good mental health for secondary school students. Head to Health has a great resource which describes practical psychological skills to help you, your loved ones, colleagues, or students cope with anxiety and worry related to infectious diseases during this time.Click here to access the resource. For your students or families who require translated information on managing mental health, visit This Way Up.
