Dear Families,

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Father/Child YMCA Camp Wyuna. It was a great weekend packed with activities, socialising, sing-a-longs and laughter. Thanks again to Paul for organising and we look forward to reading your report in the newsletter next week.

A reminder in these warmer months to pack ice packs/frozen bottles in children's lunch boxes as our hallways become very warm quickly. This will reduce the risk of food being spoiled by the heat.

Instrumental & Voice Soirees

This week our Keyboard, Violin, Guitar, Drum and Voice students showed off their skills during many extraordinary performances. The night was highly attended. Thank you to our teachers for their enthusiasm and professionalism: Miss Carnovale (Performing Arts Leader), Cailah (Voice), Richard (Drums), Katie (Violin), Tim (Keyboard) and Trent (Guitar).

Community Conversation

Thank you to the parents who were in attendance at the Wednesday's community conversation regarding survey data results. The feedback will be used to help formulate the school's 2019 Annual Action Plan on Friday November 30. A detailed report will be provided in next week's newsletter.

Thank You Afternoon Tea

Please RSVP asap to bfahy@gsmelbournesth.catholic.edu.au if you will be in attendance.

Galilee Day Mass

Join us tomorrow, Friday 23rd November, at St. Peter and Paul's church to celebrate Galilee Foundation Day. Mass will begin at 9.30am.

We look forward to celebrating Galilee Day with the 'Joy of Giving' to others. Happy birthday Galilee!

Paul Mapley has been leader of the DOGs over the last three years and as a school we are very grateful to him for his dedication and hard work. Paul's daughter Siena will in Year 6 in 2019, their last at Galilee. It is important to have a new leader of the DOGs while we have Paul present and able to provide guidance.
