Music Stands

The Music Department has a number of music stands that, while not compatible with our storage systems, are perfect for instrumental or vocal practice in homes! Anyone interested in acquiring a music stand on a first-come, first-served basis may contact the Music Department – we are asking families to make a voluntary donation to Jesuit Mission or Mary Ward International upon receipt.

Autumn Soiree

With the current health advisories limiting public performances, the Autumn Soiree will explore a different format in coming weeks. Members and families of Concert Band, Wind Band, Chamber Orchestra, Senior Guitar Ensemble, Swing Band, Treble Choir and Chamber Choir will receive information in the near future regarding the shape of the Soiree, as we proceed with the anticipation of sharing the wonderful music of John XXIII College students with our community as a whole.

Music Eisteddfod

Please note a change of dates for the John XXIII 2020 Music Eisteddfod:

• Secondary Sections: Monday 15 June
• Primary Sections: Tuesday 16 June

Further information will be sent to students and parents in the coming week.
