THRASS Dress up Day
On Tuesday, 14th November, we celebrated all things THRASS with a dress up day! There were amazing costumes from teachers to doctors, lights to kites and everything in between. We had lots of fun competing in spelling challenges and showing off our incredible costumes.
THRASS day is upon us now,
Watch out! Is it a tree or a cow?
The sun shines bright,
Fills our room with light.
Take the bull by the horn,
There are costumes to adorn.
A commotion, oh a colossal!
Hey look, there’s a fossil.
Transport zooms all around,
Shh don’t make a sound!
I see a car, bus, horse and a deer.
I should listen more carefully with my ear.
And there upon the garden bed,
A frog, a swan and a loaf of bread.
I hear a soft musical note,
I feel as if I’m drifting in a boat.
A baby cries, through a faraway door,
I happen upon a chosen saw.
I pull my glove tight upon my hand
Or would a hammer be more grand?
The moon rises now,
It’s only me and the cow.
