Parkdale Beach Patrol

Parkdale Beach Patrol is a local beach clean up group who meet once a month on Sundays to pick up rubbish from the Parkdale Beach and enjoy morning tea together. With summer coming, it's a nice time of year to get involved in this great community activity. It is also a big help to the environment. At the last beach clean up the group picked up 34kg of rubbish! Now all of that rubbish won't end up hurting our marine animals and the environment.

Some Kingswood teachers are involved in this group and we would love more Kingswood families to get involved. Everyone is welcome to come! The next beach clean up is on the 17th of December 10-11am, meeting at the undercover picnic area which is attached to the Parkdale Beach Cafe.

If you would like to be added to the mailing list to find out about future clean up dates please email parkdale3195@beachpatrol.com.au

Green Team

Bunnings set us the challenge of making a scarecrow... we accepted! In just one Friday lunch time, we made the frame, stuffed straw into hessian to make the body, arms, legs and head, designed and created the face, decorated the shirt with all things fans and umbrellas to celebrate our festival, dressed and assembled him!

Check out the ex-STRAW-dinary work by the Green Team below or see him for yourself at Bunnings Keysborough!
