GCCC Divisional Donation Program 2018-2019
Great news this week that our application for a grant through the GCCC Divisional Donations Program was successful for the amount of $1500!
Thank you to our division 13 councillor Daphne McDonald for the donation from her Division 13 Local Area Works budget.
The money will now be used to purchase 3 class sets of dictionaries and calculators to aid in our students learning.

At this year’s Christmas Concert the P&C will be running all the drink tents. There will be Balter Brewing beer, champagne and wine available from 3pm – 4:20pm for the grownups and water, soft drink and juice available from 3:00pm for the littlies.
Balter Brewing are kindly donating all the beer to the P&C and all profits from these drink tents will go straight back into our school so please purchase a drink on the night from one of our tents.

Grill'd Local Matters
We're only a week away from finding out if we will be the community
cause to receive the biggest donation of $300 for this month!!! Please
keep showing your support and putting your tokens in the Palm Beach State School jar at Grill’d Nobby Beach.
How Can You Help?
Simply head to Grill’d Nobby Beach during November for a burger and
pop your Local Matters token in our jar. The group with the most tokens at the end of the month receives the largest donation.
It’s a simple (and delicious) way to show your support!
You’ll find us on a jar at Grill’d Nobby Beach, 2215 Gold Coast Highway
A Little Ray Of Giving
This Christmas you can make a difference to less fortunate families in our community by delivering a gift to the Giving Tree, which is located in our school office.
A Little Ray Of Giving is proudly run by Ray White Tugun | Elanora and this year the gifts will be donated to the Gold Coast Community Christmas Lunch initiative which has been running for 11 years, putting on a Christmas lunch for locals in need and providing presents for children who may not otherwise receive anything at Christmas time. There are 700 people expected for this year's event many of whom will be children & families seeking refuge at domestic violence shelters.
Items that can be donated include:
- Kmart has a great range of economical gifts for smaller children - board games, dolls, lego, puzzles, colouring books, balls, play-doh etc
- Teens are the most difficult to buy for and therefore miss out the most. Movie vouchers, thongs, socks are all fabulous gifts for them
- Vouchers are perfect for families and the Mums at the Domestic Violence refuges (Woolworths, Coles)
- Pamper packs or body products that we can group together are great for female teens and women
- No guns or war toys please
Please show your support and donate following the 4 easy steps in the picture.
