REMINDERS AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Vacation Care program for April will be available in the next week.

Please keep an eye out for the email or booking forms in the OSHC room.

Reminder that all parents need to sign their child in and out each day. This is a regulations requirement and a requirement for CCS funding. You will be asked to confirm any session that an educator has had to sign out for you. This also ensures in an emergency that we are not spending time looking for children who have already left for the day.

If you child is in the hall this year you can still sign your child out in the main room and the team in that room will call for your child to come to the main room.

PROGRAM NEWS

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE

The older children have been enjoying their time in the portable where they have been using the watercolour pencils as well as engaging in origami creations.

We are going to set some collage challenges in the next few weeks to see what the children can make with the different materials. The children will also get the chance to learn how to draw different types of animals.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

 Junior Program

Over the last two weeks children have enjoyed playing group games outside as well as building with the Lego. Many children have engaged within these activities.

For the next fortnight, children will be learning new games that can be played outside as well as making and decorating paper planes as this is an idea suggested by one of the children.

Middle Program

Children have enjoyed being in the Vet area and role playing the doctors as well as concerned pet owners. Children have also enjoyed making some stress balls with balloons and corn starch.

We will continue making stress balls for the next few weeks and we will be adding cars and trucks to the Steiner area.

Senior Program

The children have enjoyed creating dominoes tracks. We haven’t been able to complete a full track yet as we have been problem solving spacing and accidental knock downs each day.

The children have also enjoyed the group cooking activities in the past weeks.

We are looking forward to seeing what mare we can achieve with the dominoes and try to complete an amazing track. We will be starting our project planning and designing individual outcomes based on the children’s interests.
