Book Battle Team:

On Tuesday, 23 August, Miss Eyre took ten young budding authors and illustrators to the Auckland Writers Festival in Aotea Centre. They had a fantastic day listening to four authors, one being Tui S Sutherland, the author of the 'Wings of Fire' series, who live-streamed in from America. 

The other authors were Maria Gill, Tom E. Moffat, and TK Roxborogh. All authors were inspirational as they talked about their journeys to becoming authors, what inspired them, what types of books and jokes they enjoyed, and of course, the writing and publishing processes. It was a very enjoyable event.
