What's Happening in Lower Division

History

In History lessons with Mrs Schaeffer, we have been learning about the past of our local area. This included learning about Captain Thunderbolt and making a clay model of a bush ranger or horse.

Science

Our topic for Science this term is 'Moving Objects'. We learned how an object can change shape when a push or pull force is applied. We explored this concept with play dough and recorded results.

Mathematics

Topics we have learned recently are addition with doubles and friends of ten, subtraction and mass. We enjoyed presenting our doubles song at assembly and experimenting with different masses last week. If you missed our assembly, here is a video of our 'doubles' performance!
