Assistant Principal Report - Junior School

On Tuesday 30th August, we held an information evening for our new Year 7 (2023) students and their parents.  The purpose of the evening was to talk about transition from primary to secondary school. We were delighted to have two of our current Year 7 students speak at the information evening.  Aurelia Milnes and Marcus O’Meara-Hayes did a fabulous job talking about their experience moving from Grade 6 to Year 7.

NAPLAN 2022

Individual Student Reports have been mailed to parents.  They have been mailed to Parent A as indicated on Compass.  NAPLAN Individual Student Reports provide information about what students know and have achieved in reading, writing, conventions of language and numeracy.  The reports also provide information on how students have performed against the national average and the national minimum standards.  We use the data to inform our teaching and to identify students who might need extra support.

It has been great to see more daylight hours as we move from winter to spring.  I hope everyone is looking forward to the break and returns refreshed for Term Four.
