A Look at Learning
From the LOP
Learning is a full time job and writing is part of that. Learning about writing and practicing these skills are an important part of the daily Literacy Block. Writing sessions consist of a teacher modelled component, followed by a class shared experience, then breaking into a rotation of guided and independent writing sessions.
Students in Early Stage 1 are writing about helpful friends.
Stage 1 had some weather to report on.
Stage 2 are perfecting their handwriting.
Stage 3 were busy concentrating on using figurative language in their writing and sharing their work with peers.
