Reflections on Faith

From the desk of the Religious Education Coordinator - Miss McMeniman

Sacraments:

Father Gleeson has been in contact with First Holy Communion and Confirmation candidates. Students now have a date and time set to receive their sacrament in St Patrick's Church. Please keep these students in your prayers as they celebrate a significant milestone in their faith journeys.

Sacrament of First Reconciliation (Year 2 students and anyone in higher grades who hasn't yet received the Sacrament):

Earlier in the year I sent home an expression of interest regarding Reconciliation. The Sacrament of First Reconciliation will be celebrated on Wednesday 8th December at 6pm in the Church. I will send out further information regarding this. There will be a parent information session to be held in November with Father Gleeson. Date to be determined.

Thank you!

Our first Catholic Missions' Month fundraiser, Free Hat Friday, was a hit and I would like to thank our School community for their support! As we continue through October, please remember 29th October, when we will have Free Hat Friday and Crazy Sock Day. Your support is very appreciated.

October, the month of the Rosary dedicated to Mary, means our students continue to pray a decade of the Rosary each day in Religious Education lessons. Each student has now made a Rosary keychain. I would like to thank our Stage 3 students for being superb teachers! Please see the process of team work to bring the task to fruition.
