Welcome to New Staff

Term 3

We welcomed Rosie Boshell to our Science Faculty as a Junior Science and Senior Biology teacher. Rosie loves to walk, hike and rock climb, and she has over 55 first cousins from her mother’s side of the family! Rosie has met Prince Edward, who watched her do an Elephant’s Toothpaste demonstration for her class.

We also welcomed back Silk Burke to our VADT Department as both a Visual Arts and Design teacher. Silk loves long walks along the beach and wishes the world was a happy and uplifting real-life musical. She is obsessed with Mathew Reilly novels and, amazingly, can do the splits!

Sophie Webster also returned to Kambala this Term after her successful practicum with the English Department earlier this year. Sophie grew up in Dublin with her twin brother and older brother and sister – who are also twins! Sophie loves anything that is craft related.

Term 4

We welcome Margie Sims who will be taking Claire Hoffman’s VA and DT classes for the term. Margie loves travelling overseas, Japanese textiles and food, and is passionate about playing Scrabble, even though there is often sledging on the side.
