Year 5/6 Sunnystones Camp

Preparations are well underway for our Year 5/6 Sunnystones Camp, taking place from Monday 8th - Tuesday 9th November.

Please ensure you check all details through the event on Compass.  Payments and consent are due by Friday 29th October.

Breakfast food hampers

Breakfast food hampers are available through the school for any families courtesy of Food Bank.

We appreciate how difficult this time has been for many families, so please contact the school if you are in need of a hamper.

Hearing & Vision Testing

Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we had to postpone the University of Melbourne hearing screening until 2022.  Kelley Graydon (PhD), Senior Lecturer, Audiologist and Team Leader from the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology at Melbourne University has provided me with a link which I can use to complete a ten-minute test to detect whether a follow up test is required at the local audiology service.  I can use this for our permitted Year 6 students, before they head off to secondary school next year.

The Lions Eye Health Program full vision screening for students in Year Prep, Year 1 and Year 6 as well as Koorie students will go ahead on Wednesday 10th November and at another date close by if required.  This is an ‘opt in’ screening program and will go ahead for those who had returned the form in Term 2.

If you have any questions, please email Gina Mills : gina.mills@education.vic.gov.au

Spare change of clothes for younger students

To assist students with any accidents they may have at school that require a change of clothes, it is recommended that the younger year levels, particularly Year Prep & 1, have a change of clothes in their bag.  The school only have a limited amount of spare clothes, so often don't have a suitable change for students to utilise.

School painting

Our school is looking so fresh, thanks to the wonderful painters we have had onsite.
