VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre)

Our VCE Year 12 students have been working on applying for University courses in 2022. VTAC sessions have been held to support our students through this process and will continue until the end of the term. Students are encouraged to open a VTAC account by 30th September. VTAC provides a number of resources to support students and parents which is located on their website https://www.vtac.edu.au/  with the Year 12 guide being very informative  - https://www.vtac.edu.au/before/guides/y12guide.html

Tax File Number (TFN)

Not sure how to apply for a TFN?

Did you know you can now apply online and have your identity verified through an interview at a participating Australia Post office? The link below has been provided for all students to access who need to apply for a TFN. To apply and also to find out about participating Post Offices visit.

Unique Student Identification(USI)

A USI (Unique Student Identifier) is a reference number that creates an online record of your training and qualifications attained in Australia.  Current Year 12 students are reminded that you will need a USI number when applying for Commonwealth financial assistance when you enroll at university next year. Some students who have already been studying a VET subject may already have one and it is recommended students create or find their USI via, https://www.usi.gov.au/ ahead of time.

Headstart Program

Head Start is an Apprenticeship and Traineeship pathway for school students,  aimed at giving them just that. Head Start allows students to undertake their VCE or VCAL for up to three years so they can spend more time in paid, on-the-job training to develop the skills employers require. For general inquiries please contact our Headstart Coordinator Amanda McMahon on 0428 197 919 or amanda.mcmahon3@education.vic.gov.au
