Young Leaders’ Afternoon Tea 2023

Last Wednesday afternoon, the Student Leadership Team hosted approximately 50 student leaders from schools around Sydney. The event was an opportunity for student leaders to come together to discuss ideas and initiatives centred on the theme of ‘Justice and Solidarity’.

The leaders were extremely fortunate to hear from the Chief Executive Officer of Vestone Capital, Mr Dave Adler, who spoke about his personal experiences with the theme, but also the importance of corporate social responsibility in organisations. Mr Adler provided details about the ways in which Vestone Capital tries to give back to the community and their conscious choice of investing in environmentally ethical investment opportunities.

The student leaders are to be commended for their enthusiasm and engagement with the activities on the day and we hope that they will be able to implement some ideas into their respective school communities.
