Parent Information Session

We are excited to have the Sleep Health Foundation come to MGC to speak to parents and carers!

 

Come along to learn more about adolescent sleep patterns, why sleep is important and how you can support your young people to get the sleep they need.

Mental Health First Aid Course

Mental Health Education Victoria would like to invite Melbourne Girls’ College parents and carers to attend a two-day accredited Mental Health First Aid Course. This course teaches adults how to assist adolescents who are developing a mental illness, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem, or are in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received, or the crisis resolves. Each course participant receives a copy of the YMHFA Manual and a Certificate of Accreditation through MHFA Australia.

 

When: Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March 9:00am-4:30pm

Where: Melbourne Girls' College

Cost: $330 (includes lunch and refreshments)

Please note course places are limited to 24 participants.
