Interact Is Ready to Roll in 2023

The Interact club at MGC is starting the year off with a bang. We had our first meeting on Friday the 10th of February and are already planning multiple events.

As some students may know, coming up at our school is the Pedal Power cinema (the 24th of February) and the Clubs Expo (the 13th of February). We will be broadcasting our club there so be sure to keep a lookout for us. At the Clubs Expo, we will not be having a stall, but we will be handing out posters, broachers, and badges to alert people that our club is an opportunity at our school. At the Pedal Power cinema, we will have multiple stalls open with food, games, and many other exciting things.

Don’t think that just because we are promoting our club at the school, that we have forgotten about our outreach programs in the community. Like last year, MGC’s Interact club will be helping the RSPCA to get more funds. We want to make sure they have the materials to give these animals safety, security, and shelter. Not only will we be raising money, but we will be donating beds, toys, and our time.

The Interact club is a great way to get involved with the community. Our projects can be local or international but either way, they make a difference. We get to participate in many events both in and outside the school. You can meet and bond with students from all year levels. Our club has opportunities for those who want to lead and those who just want to get involved. We would appreciate help from all students whether that is coming to every meeting or just a few. Our next meeting is the 24th of February at lunch in room 105, be sure to come along and see if our club is the right fit for you.
