Aiming High at LNPS 

At LNPS our aspiration is to ensure the students develop into individuals who are fully prepared, both personally and academically, for the challenges of modern-day life. We believe that education is as much about the shaping of character as it is about the acquisition of knowledge and skills. 

The ultimate goal is for LNPS students to exhibit the characteristics of successful learners. Students who are continually aiming high, knowing what they are learning, what success looks like, and acting upon feedback.

Our school values of Respect, Honesty, Pursuit of Excellence and Care and Concern underpin all expectations at LNPS. In supporting students in being successful learners, expectations around LNPS values are reflected upon and unpacked with students.

Aiming High at LNPS enables our students to demonstrate learner qualities, which our school community acknowledges as essential skills that all students should have upon completion of their time at LNPS. As students are encouraged and supported to take charge of their own learning, the Aiming High at LNPS initiative is implemented R-6. 

Our new LNPS leaner qualities are:

In week 0 staff further developed what each value and learner quality looks like, what we will hear and see students do and say.
