2019 Rotary Award Recipient

On Thursday 28th November I was privileged to attend a Rotary Dinner in Keysborough with one of my Year 10 students and her parents.  Jashan Kaur is the 2019 Rotary Award recipient, and I was very proud sitting at the table with her. She kept up some great conversation with the two Rotarians at our table, and then presented a short speech of thanks when awarded with a certificate and watch from the President of the Keysborough Rotary Club. Jashan has been involved in quite a number of activities in and out of Killester College throughout this year: the Justice and Democracy group, the Climate Change Protest, Brigidine Day, a Harmony Day performance and Joey’s Van – just to name a few. Congratulations Jash. I hope to see many girls getting involved in the Killester community in the coming year.

Keysborough Fire Brigade Santa Run

The Keysborough Fire Brigade will be stopping at 14 locations around the Keysborough vicinity. Bring your family, friends and children to come and see the big red truck with SANTA on board!!!  As you may gather, Santa will be quite busy so he will be attempting to stick to a strict time frame as his got to get back to the North Pole.

 ***Please Note times may vary during any emergencies that may arise during the day of the event.  The Keysborough Fire Brigade's focus is on providing required emergency response for the residents of the Keysborough area.***
