As the Staff Team at CURIOSITY ELC have been coming together, it is encouraging to hear each member share about their passion for early learning and childhood awakening.  Here are some of the individual philosophy statements from each of our dedicated CURIOSITY educators.  More to come next time...……

Mrs Shin-Yie

I believe that each child should have the opportunity to engage and explore in a variety of learning experiences that allows and encourage children’s voices to be heard. I believe that as educator we should be intentional in our planning and flexible to change. I believe that as an educator we are constantly learning from children, families and each other.

Mrs Tricia Childs

I believe that children learn best through their play experiences while feeling safe and supported.  I believe that all children are capable, competent learners, who are naturally curious, full of wonder and need to explore to discover and learn. I believe that as a team of professional educators, who can learn from and support each other, we can work together to provide a bright start for children in their learning journey.

Mrs Griseldi Alfaro - Sanchez

I believe that children are capable and competent, have absorbent minds and take in what they learn through their play experiences. I believe that each child is an individual and as an educator I will value and develop each child's strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning. I believe in cultural diversity.  I will celebrate the benefits of diversity with each individual child and enable them to understand and acknowledge differences.
