5D have been learning about Australian Artist Jeffrey Smart. We had to draw a section of one of his artworks, ‘Turn off to Dandenong’
Our theme for Science and Technology is ‘SPACE’. Firstly we posed questions about what we would like to learn, then in groups, researched a planet of our choice, answering the questions our class had posed. We also included other interesting facts. We presented our findings as mobiles.
5D have been reading the novel ‘Hating Alison Ashley’ by author Robin Klein. We used one of her paragraphs and deconstructed her writing. Then we reconstructed the paragraph in our own way.
