Our Annual Carols Evening
Each year, Boroondara Park Primary School holds a Christmas Carols Concert. This year, it will be held on Thursday 12 December here at B.P.P.S. The concert celebrates the end of the school year and provides an opportunity for our talented students to perform some Christmas themed music.
As part of this whole school celebration, our ensembles and foundation students are busily preparing for the night. Each group will perform at the Christmas Concert from 7:15 p.m. As both the choirs, vocal groups will be performing throughout the night, accompanied by our school African Drumming ensemble, Rock Group and Squad and our String ensemble, we ask that your child arrive at school by 6:45 p.m. to line up with their ensemble.
In terms of costuming for this evening, we ask all students to dress in Christmas colours (red/green/silver/gold). Everyone is more than welcome to ‘decorate’ themselves with tinsel and other Christmas related attire.
All families are invited to this event, and are encouraged to bring a picnic rug and some nibbles. It is a lovely night to sit and enjoy music with your family.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
