Broken Hill/Barrier Swimming Carnival

On Thursday 21st March 2019, the Broken Hill/Barrier Swimming Carnival was held at the Aquatic Centre.

Burke Ward won the Gloria Channing Handicap Shield and the Overall Champion School Shield.

Age champion medals were presented to Livia Slater and Caitlyn Kochaniec-Pollard.

Sienna Bevan and Sharna Kochaniec-Pollard were runner-up age champions.

The following students represented Burke Ward with pride;

Isla Bromson, Levi Betts, Shiloh Neate, Baileigh Pascoe, Spencer Norris, Evie Fillery, Sienna Bevan, Deegan Slater, Jobe Zammit-Harvey, Caitlyn Kochaniec-Pollard, Sharna Kochaniec-Pollard, Riley Craft, Akira Stubing, Ruby Sladden, Livia Slater, Bryce Bottrell, Toby Roe, Myles Reed, Campbell Day, Maya Fillery.

A big thank you to the Burke Ward staff who attended the swimming carnival to assist as officials for this event.

Ribbons from this carnival will be presented at the next primary assembly on 5th April 2019 at 9am.
