From our Principal
Over the past few weeks we have noticed an increase in parents and children are crossing the road unsafely. This includes not using the crossing, running in front of cars as they are slowing for the lights and running across the road when there are breaks in traffic. It would be a tragedy if any of our parents or students were injured as they are not crossing at the traffic lights. By taking those few extra steps to the lights you are not only teaching your children to responsibly cross the road, you are teaching them life long skills.
We will be monitoring the way people cross the road this week. If parents and children are not crossing at the lights we will be closing all of the front gates and only keeping the main gates open near the traffic lights. This action will be taken as a result of recommendations provided to us by the RMS.
CHANGE OF DATE - PARENT FEEDBACK AFTERNOON
Last year we invited parents in to discuss the proposal of stage classes. The feedback from parents in attendance was that they would like these meetings to occur more frequently.
We had initially proposed the meeting would occur this week. The meeting date has changed to:
Wednesday 3rd April
3:15pm
Library
At this meting we would like to discuss:
*updating our student leadership policy
*sharing results of our anti-bullying survey
*excursions for Years 4,5 & 6.
Thanks & have a great week
