EU 765 / 2008

Back in 2015, the European Commission contacted the Irish Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation to inform them that as ISQua was not a national accreditation body, ISQua’s presence in Ireland was infringing on directive EU 765 / 2008.

As a result, ISQua has spent the past two years investigating various ways to appease this infringement. Having examined various options, the ISQua Board is now exploring the possibility of moving the IAP to a territory outside the European Economic Area.

Discussions are ongoing and an update is expected later in 2018.
