The P&F Constitution requires all positions to be vacated each year, and any member may be nominated for a position, including someone who has previously held the role. The process is:
- A person is nominated
- A seconder is called for
- Once all nominations for a position are in and seconded, it is put to a vote on the voices
- A poll may be taken if requested by a member
Year 6 Graduation 2019 - Sunday 24 November
Year 6 Graduation Family Gathering - please RSVP by 31 October 2019
It will be BIG! This event will be held on Sunday 24 November 2019 from 2.30 - 5.30pm at Chowne Hall, Willoughby Park. We are trying to make their exit from primary days a memorable one for the boys, with a party, photobooth and souvenirs. To enable us to plan, we need to know our budget and also confirm numbers attending.

The cost is $50 per family to help cover cost of the hall, food, cake, teachers' and boys' gifts. If you are unable to attend and wish to make a voluntary contribution of $15 towards the teachers' & boys' gifts, please also go to the Trybooking link which will give you that option.

Year 7 Mums' & Sons' Night Out - Dads not forgotten!
Year 7 Mum’s night out: The Year 7 Class Parents would love the mothers of Year 7 boys to join us for dinner on Saturday 26 October at 7:00 pm. It's a great opportunity to meet other mums and we have organised a fun way to ensure you meet new people from the beginning to end of dinner. We guarantee you will meet a new mum (or 2 or 3) on the night!
This will be our last function for the year and we encourage you to get in quick and book your place on the TryBooking Link below. At this stage, we have secured the booking for 30. However if we are inundated and fill up in the next 10 days, we will increase the numbers to suit.

Events for Dads of Year 7 Boys
Now for the husbands ... we have not left you out! In fact one of our enterprising class mums, Lorna Hammond, has researched a golf afternoon at Castle Cove with drinks at the bar afterwards. We do require an enthusiastic dad to run with this, so if you're willing, please email Lorna Hammond on lornahammond@hotmail.com and she will be happy to pass on the details.

Year 10 Dinner Dance
The SPX Year 10 boys dinner dance will be held on Tuesday 3 December 2019 at the Epping Club. This event is organised by SPX College and parents do not attend this event. I have booked The Den function area at the nearby recently renovated Epping Hotel for a parents get together after dropping off our boys and possibly their dance partners!! We can have a cocktail party food and parents can then buy their own drinks in the nearby main bar area and return to The Den function area. The benefit of the Epping Hotel is it is right near the Epping Club and we can the pick up our boys and their dance partners for the drive home.
An invite with an SPX Trybooking link will be sent so that we can confirm numbers to the Epping Hotel for catering purposes. In the meantime, please save this date in your diaries and perhaps discuss the upcoming event with your Year 10 boy!!
