Reports, Interviews and Late arrivals

Report Writing Day

Parents are reminded that Friday 20 May is a Report Writing day for all staff so students are not required at school. All teachers will be preparing student reports and assessments which take a great deal of time. These assessments provide parents with information on student progress and inform the planning for forthcoming months. It is planned that all reports will be made available on Friday 17 June. This year reports will be released in a digital format. Parents will be given an access code to access their child's report online. More information on this process will be provided later in the term. OSHClub will operate from 7.00am – 6.00pm on this day.  Bookings are essential.

Parent Interviews

We are confident that parents will find their student’s report most comprehensive, however, should you feel the need to gain further information about your child’s progress you will have the opportunity to book interviews for Tuesday 21 or Wednesday 22 June.  We will be using the on-line booking system and parents will be able to book an interview with their child’s literacy and/or numeracy teacher. This will enable parents to gain detailed information in both key learning areas.  Should you wish to discuss anything with your class teacher please use the communication email and informal discussions which are available at all times. Details about booking interviews will be sent out in early June.

Late Arrivals

Parents are reminded of the requirements of students arriving late to school. Any student who arrives at school after the morning bell (at 8.55am) is required to be signed in at the school office. As student attendance is marked electronically by the classroom teacher, it is vital that we have exact records of who is on the school premises in case of an emergency.
