Hot Shots Tennis

CONGRATULATIONS to our Boys Hot Shots Tennis Team, who have placed 3rd in the Regional Finals held at Nottinghill Tennis Club yesterday. The boys should be very proud of their efforts, winning all minor games to head their Pool going into the finals. Unfortunately they lost to Templeton Primary School, the overall winners, to place 3rd. Huge thanks to Team Manager, Kathryn Duke for her support.

Go Syndal!!!

F-2 House Sports

Our Foundation - 2 students have been busy preparing for the F - 2 House Sports being held on Friday 6th December at school. The House Sports are a fun and colourful way in which to finish the school year in a sporting sense. During our PE sessions we have been trying to run faster, throw further and jump longer so that we can earn points for our House in a fun and friendly competition. The event is being organised by our Year 5/6 students who are currently planning and preparing during their PE sessions. More information to follow.

Walktober

CONGRATULATIONS to those students who made the effort to Walk to school during the month of October. Hopefully you are feeling better for it, knowing that you have, made a difference to the traffic congestion around the school, reduced the pollution in the air, enjoyed the company of other walkers and most importantly made a conscious decision to improve your own health and wellbeing. Some of you may have enjoyed it so much that you are now doing it on a more regular basis.

CONGRATULATIONS to 3/4H on having 21 students completing 593 walking entries to and from school for the month of October !

Pee Wee International Tournament

‘Flynn and his Ironworks Eagles team have played four games so far, winning two and losing two. A highlight for Flynn was scoring three goals (a hat trick) in the very first game of the tournament! He was named the Game MVP and was given a ‘Top Gun’ helmet to wear for the morning!’

Go Flynn!
