ATTENDANCE

“There are many factors that influence student achievement, including teacher quality and student engagement. Attendance is also an important contributor to a student’s academic achievement – all school days matter.”

When a student is absent due to circumstances beyond their control, such as an illness, it is important to remember that this must be accounted for either by a medical certificate or a statutory declaration. These requirements are intended to ensure that there is no unfair advantage or disadvantage encountered due to the absence. Congratulations to the 55 Year 12 students who have maintained 90% or higher attendance.
