Senior Years News

We are heading towards the end of Semester 1, and the end of either Unit 1 or 3 for our Senior School students. This is a very busy time for all students. Teachers and the Year level program leaders are here to support all students to perform their best.   

We have some important dates coming up for our Senior School students.

GAT - Wednesday 13th June 10.00 am – 1.15 pm

All students who are studying a Unit 3/4 VCE or Scored 3/4 VET subject in 2018 must sit the GAT.

To help students prepare:

• See Ms Green for the resources from assemblies and preparation classes during Connect if they were absent
• Attend the GAT session from Connect Education on Tuesday 5th June at 2.30 and 4.45 pm.
• Book via https://ti.to/connect-education/nhsgat, the cost is $5
• Check the VCAA website for past exams: http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/vce/exams/gat/gat.aspx

Unit 1 Examination period - Friday 15th to Friday 22nd of June

Timetables will be out at the start of June.

Year 11 RMIT day- Tuesday 26th June

All day excursion to learn about a range of pathways for all students; VCE and VCAL.

Winter Solstice is coming! Thursday 28th June 5.00 – 7.30 pm

We will have student acts performing and Food trucks. Stay tuned.

Careers Expo Friday 20th July

All Year 11s will be attending the Careers Expo at Melbourne Exhibition Centre. More information to come.
