Year 8s making their own pasta
As we investigate sustainability and staples in our world we took wheat as a commonly used staple. Our students confidently made their own pasta. On doing a comparison with a commercial produce it was decided that homemade was worth the effort.
It was a mini MasterChef experience for our Year 7 students recently who brought in home-made fruit based products to share with their class. The chosen recipes were ambitious and creative, and the results thoroughly enjoyed!
