Achievement - congratulations Luke!

Oceania Karate Championships Silver Medalist

Luke Christopoulos of 12E recently represented Australia at the 19th Oceania Karate Championships held in New Zealand where he received a silver medal.

"It was a memorable and exciting experience for me representing my country and I enjoyed every minute of the trip. There were a number of countries at the event such as Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Nauru, New Caledonia etc. Whilst my expectations were to finish with a Gold medal, I was proud to end with a Silver medal after losing in the finals to a very talented New Zealand Athlete.

I want to say a big thank you to Northcote High School for all the support NHS has provided me. Thank you also for sponsoring me with the official National Team Tracksuit."
