Year 7  Update

Making the Most of Lockdown

Students in M73 home group faced a ‘cooking challenge’ over the weekend where they were tasked with creating a meal for their family. They were required to take photos of the process and obtain a review from a family member. Tanjore in M73 went above and beyond on for this task, including a range of photos and two particularly amusing reviews from his parents.

I cooked a chicken Parma and vegetables with mash and gravy for my family. Here are the photos of me cooking the meal and the final product.

Reviews:

Mum: The reticent cook Tanjore did an amazing job. The mashed potato was smooth and creamy. I had a plain schnitzel which was perfectly cooked, and the gravy was smooth and delicious. Looking forward to eating at Casa Tanjore again.

Dad: It’s a brave man that takes on the challenge of cooking a chicken parma for his Dad – especially one that has graced the insides of many an establishment on various ‘Parma and Pot’ nights. But what a mighty fine effort it was. The mash and gravy servings were generous, smooth and delicious, the parmy was cooked (and salted) perfectly and the carrot provided the perfect crunch element to the dish. I’m definitely looking forward to the next meal at Casa TJ.
