Multiage–Celebrating Learning

Multi-age at Croxton

Multiage has settled into Home Learning again, but would much rather be at school as everyone was on fire with their and participating lots of fun activities. We even had an Excursion booked for the Bunjilika Gallery at the Museum for next week!

Education Week was a big event at Croxton and the Multiage students participated in many events including the Circus Performance showing off their Poi Skills to an audience and an Expo display of some of our work for the parents to visit. We had a .dress up day of Community helpers/workers and our class had a couple of Vets and Builders, a Dance Instructor and a Chef.

The SRC also held a fundraising event for our much-loved Croxton therapy dog Mahli’s 4th Birthday. Each class made cupcakes and decorated them with doggie pics. We bought our own cake and donated to the “Dogs4Jobs” Rescue Centre. There was also a visit from “Murphy” the Therapy Dog who was recently rescued from there.

Sorry Day was also a very important day and the Multiage students found the TPS Sorry Day special Assembly very powerful and particularly enjoyed the stories and singing and the making and planting of the hands.(For some it was their first Assembly as Multiage aren’t there on Mondays) We read the Sorry Day story and watched videos and discussed what each person can do to be kind and show respect to all.

We are all looking forward to being back at school ASAP.
