Year 3/4–Celebrating Learning

3/4 Mainstream & Steiner

3/4 students, along with the whole TPS community, commemorated Sorry Day on the 26th of May. We listened to a special assembly, and paid our respects through singing “Our Song”, by Yorta Yorta woman Deborah Cheetham. The whole 3/4 cohort sang beautifully together, and it was a very special experience. We also wrote about the theme of Reconciliation Week, which is More Than A Word, and discussed how Sorry is about actions and what we do into the future.

During the 3/4 Swimming program, students had a fantastic, although sadly shortened, time at Northcote Aquatic Centre. We learned about safety and different types of swimming strokes, as well as new games and having a lot of fun!
