All 1/2 classes attended swimming lessons at Northcote Pool during Week Five. Students were allocated a like ability group and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of learning to swim with their peers. It went very smoothly with TPS’s Deadly Values demonstrated consistently across the board. Well done to all!

During our writing sessions this term, we are using the Writers Workshop process to write recounts of events. This ties in with reading where we recount what we have read. In week five and six we linked our writing recount focus with swimming. During our writing sessions students wrote recounts about their time at swimming or recounting another current event.
