YEAR 5 INQUIRY

Last week I had a visit from three students from 5TL – Austin, Godfrey and Natasha- who keenly showed me the electrical circuit they had been working on.   Seeing students engaged and excited to share their learning and being involved in some great hands on learning where they need to experiment, test and check, work collaboratively, and work on multi step problem solving tasks is always a wonderful thing to see! Congratulations Year 5!

A huge thank you to our teachers for the work they do (both in and out of school time) in collecting and analysing the data to provide comprehensive reports for our parent community. Teachers (both class and specialists) moderate their report marks in their year level teams to ensure consistency and individually meet with a member of the principal class leadership team to discuss their assessment results, and look through the data for each child.  These structures provide confidence and assurity that our teachers know their students very well.

If you have any queries or questions regards the reports or the reporting process please don’t hesitate to email me.
