Staying Safe, Trying Our Best, Acting Responsibly and Respecting Others
Our STAR leaders represented our school at Eastland for our local community ceremony acknowledging reconciliation week. We participated in an engaging and spiritual Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony from Uncle Bill Nicholson and listened to traditional songs by Ying Gal Mullum band and national renowned indigenous singer and stolen generations survivor Kutcha Edwards. We are all in support of uniting our community for unity.
This fortnight's behaviour is focus is Staying Safe in the playground. We have had a rise in minor injuries resulted from running around areas that normally are quiet play. Senior students have been asked to be mindful of playing tiggy on 'paved' areas and if found to be running on paths will be declared 'IT' in tiggy games from now on.
A big thanks for our STAR leaders for running our weekly STAR news which focusses on behaviour expectations and wellbeing understanding.
Here is an update of the Term 2 Cup leaderboard, this is inclusive of House Sports, Gotchas and Dojo points.
