In Maths this week we are learning about partitioning numbers.

VOCABULARY

Partitioning: Breaking a larger number into parts. For example: 5 and 5 make 10, 4 and 6 make 10, 7 and 3 make 10, 8 and 2 make 10. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Choose a number between 10 and 20, see how many different ways you can partition or break the number down. 

Keep track of how many ways you were able to partition a number.
